Sadly, We announce the death of George Harry Kuzik on the 15^th of October, 2017 at Fort Qu’Appelle. George was born on July 17, 1926 in Smokey Lake, Alberta. He was stationed in Vancouver for many years as a Naval Officer. In 1955, he began farming in the Dysart district, then retired to Fort Qu’Appelle, partnering in Fox Greenhouse. George loved farming, hunting, gardening, fishing, and raising pheasants. Predeceased by his first wife Zita, George is survived by Dorothy von Falkenhausen, son Murray (Melanie) of Medicine Hat, and five grandchildren: Chad (Kara), Tyler (Jenny), Jesse (Lisa), Robert (Michelle), and Corey (Katherine); twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A celebration of George’s life will be held in Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Fort Qu’Appelle on Wednesday October 18 at 11 am. Donations in George’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Conley Funeral Home, Fort Qu’Appelle and Raymore, SK.
