July 13, 1972 – April 1, 2024

Tanya was called home by the Creator peacefully on April 1, 2024 surrounded by the love of her family. Tanya Sunshine will be lovingly remembered by daughters Jessica (Brandon), Ashley; son Trenton; her children’s father Trent Koochicum; parents Marlene and Stanley “Vince” Genereaux; brother Shawn Genereaux.

Tanya was predeceased by grandparents Fred & Melvina McNabb; Numerous Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.

The twins were raised by their late grandparents Fred & Melvina McNabb, and by their aunts and uncles whom the twins considered as siblings; late Harold, late Derald, Calvin(Bev), Leeroy, Late Arthur, T-John(Jackie), Late Lorna McNabb, Delores(Brian) Genereaux, Tammy(Frank) Genereaux

Special Acknowledgement to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Traditional Wake will be held Thursday April 4, 2024 at 4 pm in the Peepeekisis Pesakastew School, Peepeekisis Cree Nation. Funeral Service will take place Friday April 5, 2024 at 11 am in the same location.
