Herbert Creely Obituary

August 14, 1941 –November 22, 2019

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, brother, uncle and loved one. Herbert began his journey to the spirit world on November 22, 2019 at the All Nations Healing Hospital in Fort Qu’appelle, Saskatchewan. Herbert was predeceased by his father William Leonard Creeley, mother Victorine Wakeup-Creeley, common-law partner Ernesta Ann Sangwais, and a child in infancy. Herbert leaves to mourn this children: Rodney Sr. (Elaine) Keewatin, Trevor Creely (Kerri); Brent Creely, Huey (Summer) Creely and Jason Johnson; his grandchildren: Gabrielle, Brooklyn, Kreeannah, Maliek, Zandra, ThunderSky, ThunderCloud, Theory-Jerome, Michael-Xander, Jamison, Tianna-Faith, Alicia (Lowell) Wesley, and Rodney Jr. Keewatin (Biddy). His siblings: Charlotte Creely, Rosabelle (Clarence) McNabb, Suzie Creeley, Jennifer Creeley, Ace Creely Sr., Leonard Creely, Nyle Creely, and Lyle Creely Special nieces and nephews: Corrina Wajuntah, Cherlynn Wajuntah, and Charvette Wajuntah, Nathan (Lacey) Wajuntah, Cory Oliver, Arlene McNabb, Perry (Jolene) McNabb, Brian McNabb, Clarence Jr McNabb, Charity Creeley, Thomas Creeley and all of their children. Herbert will be lovingly remembered and missed by numerous nieces and nephews and relatives.

A traditional Wake will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday November 25, 2019 in the Gymnasium at the Okanese Learning Centre, Okanese First Nation. The Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the same location. Arrangements entrusted to the Conley Funeral Home, Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan.

The family wishes to thank All Nations Healing Hospital for the care Herbert received, and also thank Ralph and Kelly Blondeau for their care and compassion when transferring Herbert to the funeral home.
