Joseph Hormidas Desjarlais

December 8, 1923 – June 11, 2019

Joseph was called home by the creator unexpectedly June 11, 2019 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence Desjarlais; mother Susan; stepmother Josephine Pelletier; bothers John, Peter and Arnold; sisters Celina, Freda, Evelyn and Dorothy; wife Marceline Pambrun, daughter Margaret (Max) Sutherland and family, son Jean Paul Desjarlais, son-in-law Mark Wolfleg Jr. Joseph is survived by his sons Harvey (Laura), Joey (Family), Roland, James (Karen), Gene, Mark (Cindy), Clint (Melissa); daughters Marie, Orval, Madeline, Vivian, Theresa, Barb (Joe), Gloria (Brian),  Colleen (Bill); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; special grandson and caregiver Christopher (Cheyenne);great granddaughters Camara and Ruth. The family would like to thank Dr. Nair for his compassionate care. Wake will be held Friday June 14, 2019 at 4 pm, Lestock Town Hall, Lestock, SK. Funeral service will be held Saturday June 15, 2019 at 11:00 am in the same location.   Interment to follow at Muskowekwan Cemetery, Muskowekwan First Nation.
