Michael Alan Pletz

December 2, 1984 – May 8, 2019

Michael Alan Pletz, 34, passed away suddenly on Wednesday May 8th in his family home. He was the husband of Sharon (Young) and they spent 10 happy years of marriage together. Michael was born in Balcarres, Saskatchewan to Gerald and Rita Pletz on December 2nd, 1984.

He spent his childhood school years in Fort Qu’Appelle, and then attended the University of Regina where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. His career began with Brandt Engineering Products, and as of recently he was employed with Rockford Engineering.

Michael’s favorite things to do included quadding, snowmobiling, camping and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his easy-going personality and his contagious laugh.

He is survived by his wife Sharon and children Kieran, Kinlee and Anika. He will forever be remembered by his parents Gerald and Rita Pletz, his brothers Jeremy (Kelsey), Kristopher (Darlene), Nicholas (Erin), Joey (Jessica), and Scott (Alysia), as well as his mother and father in- law (Bob and Lesley Young), brother in-laws (Robert and Jamie) and sister in-law (Nicola) along with many nieces and nephews.

. A Celebration of Life was held Wednesday, May 15th at 11:00 a.m. in the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Dysart SK.
