March 8, 1963 – September 18, 2019

“ Yellow Eagle / Wolf that stands with Grandfathers ”

Rusty was called home by the Creator on September 18, 2019 with his family at his side. Traditional wake will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Community Complex, Kahkewistahaw First Nation at 4:00 pm. A Feast at 11 am with a Funeral Service at 2 pm will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 in the same location. Weather permitting, the funeral will be held in a large tent at the baseball field across the road from the community Complex where Rusty loved to play. Internment to follow in the Kahkewistahaw First Nation Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff of the Wolseley Integrated Care Center and the Broadview Hospital for the care and comfort Rusty received in his final days, Thanks to the family and friends for their unconditional love, support, food and supplies while Rusty was in care.
