October 27, 1989 – August 24, 2017

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our loved one, who is now making his journey up to the spirit world.  Waylon is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Chief Irvin Starblanket, his paternal grandparents, Alice Whitehat and Ambrose Mosonier, as well as uncles John, Ron, and Joseph. He is survived by his parents, Verna and Bryant, his sisters, Sharidy (Toby), Reah (Byron), Jenelea (William), brother Bryant, daughter Mariah, and cherished grandmother Margaret Starblanket, as well as numerous relatives and friends.  Traditional Wake will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 4 pm in the Whitecalf Gymnasium-Lebret, Saskatchewan. Traditional Funeral Service to follow on Tuesday, August 29,  at 11 am with Elders Officiating. Interment in Star Blanket Cree Nation cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Conley Funeral Homes, Fort Qu’Appelle and Raymore, SK.
