January 20,1936 – February 24, 2025

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Aileen Agnes Hansen (nee Sievert) passed away at the age of 89.

She leaves to mourn her loving husband Donald who would have celebrated 66 years of marriage in March. Beloved children Shelly (Brian) Hubick, Marcy (Pete) Hill and Del (Lori) Hansen. Her adored grandchildren Jody (Tim), Sharla (Tyler), Joel (Rachael), Peter (Jen), Cory, Brent, Tayler (Bryan), Jayden and Rylan. Her great grandchildren Madison, Parker, Araya, Nate, Gemma, Peter, Henry and Stella. Sister-in-law Loreen Sievert. Numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She was predeceased by great grandson Felix, parents Otto and Katherina, all of her siblings Alma (Fred), Erna (Martin), Edith (Robert), Grace (Louie), Gustie (Boyd), Hilda (Alex), Norie (Calvin), Herman (Erma), Helen (Erwin), Bushie and Minnie (Richard). In-Laws Oscar and Cal, Dorothy (Tom), George (Marie) and Clifford (Doris).

She was born south of Earl Grey. Baptized and confirmed in Fairy Hill Lutheran Church. Attended Scarborough Elementary and Earl Grey High School. She and Donald married in 1959, and they lived all their lives in Strasbourg. She worked at the Royal Bank in Strasbourg for 24 years. She enjoyed horses, camping and spending time with friends. Her greatest love was her family.

A Funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11am in the St John Lutheran Church in Strasbourg, SK.
