It is with great sadness that the family of Alex Miles Kahnapace announce his sudden passing on November 14, 2025.

Alex was predeceased by his father Harvey Kahnapace; brothers Harey Herold Kahnapace (FT Totten) & in infancy Keith Kahnapace.

Alex leaves to mourn his mother Louise Kahnapace; siblings Deborah Herald (FT Totten), Lionel, Eli, Kevin, Miranda, Tina (Marvin), Leroy, Milton & Errol; children Stephan, Kashtin, Keegan, Aaron, Lauren & Adam; grandchildren Delilah, Valerie, Madilyne, Tamari, Brandon, Dawson & Emersyn; special friend Joey Bear; special cousiins Lois & Dwight; as well as many relatives, too numerous to mention.

Alex as born in Fort Qu'Appelle, SK. on November 19, 1965. Alex grew up on Pasqua First Nation & in Regina, SK. He also resided in Edmonton & Calgary for a brief time. He was an avid baseball & hockey fan. His favourite teams were the Toronto Blue Jays & the Toronto Maple Leaf's. Alex created, coached & played with the Solo Pitch Team Hit N Run. He played many seasons & tournaments throughout Sask & Alberta. Alex made many friends throughout his life through spots, work & his daily life. Alex loved his animals. They were his fur babies. His pitbull “Mia”, 2 Cats “Smasher” & “Kitty Kat” & the late “El Wappo” & “Blue”. Alex enjoyed life. He was full of love, always happy & smiling. Alex was known for his sense of humor. He was the cool uncle to many of his nieces & nephews. Alex called himself “HBWS”. He loved his home, enjoyed his time in his backyard & enjoyed his favourite drink with friends and family in his spare time.

A wake will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 4pm in the Chief Ben Pasqua Memorial Hall on Pasqua First Nation. Funeral services will take place the following day, Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11am in the same location.
