Allan George Redshaw
1933 - September 9, 2025
Allan George Redshaw, (92), passed away peacefully at the Regina Pasqua Hospital on September 9, 2025.
Allan is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Eva (McLaughlin) Redshaw, brother and sister-in-law Alvin and Elsie Redshaw, brother-in-law Del Dube, and, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Ron Shorten.
He is survived by his loving spouse Myrna, sister Frances Dube, children; Jerry Redshaw, Donna (Bill) Mitchell, Diana Redshaw, Lorraine (Dale)Von-Hagen, Ronald (Amber) Redshaw, Robert (Pamela) Redshaw, stepchildren, Tara Rakai and Amanda Rakai, and countless grand-children and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Allan was born in 1933, in Semans, Saskatchewan. He went to work for Calgary Power and returned in 1958 to take over the family farm after his dad’s sudden passing. After 50 years of farming, getting run over by a 3-ton truck and dodging angry cows, he settled in town where he would cut lawns, grew a massive garden and nurtured a booming raspberry patch. In July 2025, Allan and Myrna left the town they loved and moved to the big city. Allan was very proud of his 42 years of sobriety and was an active member of AA.
The family wishes to thank the staff in Emergency and 4B at the Pasqua Hospital for their great care and compassion. He commented on several occasions that he couldn’t get any better service than that. The family would also like to thank members of the community of Semans, too many to name, for all of their friendships and support. He was loved by all who knew him, or if not, were jealous of his rugged good looks and sharp wit
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Ron & Bob Redshaw’s go fund me page…. Just kidding, he would want you to donate to a charity of your choice.
May your horse never stumble,
Your cinch never break,
Your belly never grumble,
Your heart never ache.
