 Allan was called home peacefully to be with the Creator on Monday, May 11, 2020 at the age of 56 years of the Starblanket Cree Nation.

Allan was predeceased by his son Jarryd Starr, godson Dante Bitternose, adopted brother Kenneth (Kilo) Kinequon, father Willard Starr, father in-law George McKay, godfather Leonard Ratt, uncles Gerald Starr, Fred Starblanket, Noel Starblanket, and Irvin Starblanket, paternal grandparents Victor and Mary Starr, maternal grandparents Alma and Robert Akapew, paternal great-grandparents Allan and Agnes Starr, maternal great-grandparents Eddie and Emma Favel, and special nephews Cameron (George) Akapew, Joshua Starr, Michael (Mikey) Poitras, Eric Starr, and Collin (Mouse) Akapew.

He leaves behind to mourn his passing his wife of 31 years Sonya Starr, daughter Alana (Tony Cappo) Starr and their children Cassius, Atlee, and baby Tony Cappo, son Nathan Starr, mother Doris Starr, mother in-law Noella McKay, godmother Edith (Chick) Poitras, brothers Brian (Dawn Tuckanow) Starr, Clayton Starr, Murray Starr, Warren Starr, sister Eunice (Calvin Stevenson) Starr, adoptive brothers Ivan (Cat) Severight and Dale (Renita) Whitecap, special aunts Ethel (Alvin Sangrit) Dubois, Lorraine (Morris) Desnomie, and Patti Stonechild, special nephews Cade Tuckanow-Starr, Jordan Starr, Ty Stevenson, Cody Starr, Kobe Starblanket, special nieces Chantel and Ashley McKay, special grandson Jaxon Starr, and numerous friends and relatives.

Allan was a top-notch athlete in his younger years and lived life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed but his legacy will live on.

A traditional wake to be held in the Okanese Band Hall, Okanese First Nation on Thursday, May 14, 2020 commencing at 4:00pm with funeral service on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 11:00am with Elders officiating. Interment in the Starr Family Cemetery. As per traditional protocol, the family asks that no children to be in attendance. Also, the family asks that you bring a lawn chair if needed, they will be following the Saskatcewhan protocols of gathering restrictions at this time.
