It is with great sadness that the family of Alvin Lloyd Kahnapace announce his passing on October 22, 2023 at the age of 38. Lloydie was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on June 30, 1985.
Lloyd was predeceased by his paternal Grandparents, Noel and Rosemae Kahnapace; His maternal grandparents Leo and Bernice Desnomie; He was also predeceased by father Alvin B. Kahnapace; his partner Marci Goodwill whom he loved and missed very much; His uncles Joey Desnomie and Joe "Nootyboy" Kahnapace. His aunties Jeannie Johnson, and auntie Sheila Kahnapace. Special uncle bro Jay-R Kahnapace. Also, many other relatives too numerous to mention.
Lloyd leaves to mourn his memory, his mom Leah, brother James (Cara), sister Collette. His children whom he treasured very much, Kyler (Ashley), Samantha, and Wilma. The mother of his children Christy (Jason). Sisters in life Daphne, Naomie, Becky, April, Krystal, Ashley, Angel, and Naya. Brothers in life, Jarrell, Leo, Jonny, Jon, and Kevin. Aunties Donna (Ron), D'Nita (Stan), Laurenda (Vinnie), Karen, Cynthia (Sheldon) and his auntie momma Caron (Dan). Uncles Perry (Grace) and Sheldon (Kelly). Also his other "mom" Lynda Bigknife. His grandmothers Ina Kahnapace and Lydia Desnomie. He leaves behind many relatives on both sides of his family that are too numerous to mention.
Lloyd lived and loved everyone around him and his most greatest accomplishment was his babies. He loved his kiddo Kyler and his baby Sammy with all his heart. Everywhere that Lloyd went he was always laughing and making every around him laugh and smile. He was very well known for his hockey skills in the net when he was young with one of his highlights of his hockey career was playing for the Team Canada Polar Bears when he was a Bantam. He travelled with the team to the Czech Republic for 3 weeks. His parents and grandparents were very proud of him. There is so much that he has done in his short life that he will be remembered for a very long time. He made friends wherever he went, and his presence will be greatly missed.
A Traditional Wake will take place on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 4 PM in the Chief Ben Pasqua Memorial Hall, Pasqua First Nation. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11 AM in the Chief Ben Pasqua Memorial Hall, Pasqua First Nation.
