It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Ariel Cole Laswisse. Ariel was born August 12, 1998, leaving our world on March 17, 2025. She was a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, aunty & friend.

Ariel is survived by her mom Twyla Oochoo & by her dad Clayton Laswisse; her brothers Braeden, Colton, Jordin & Aiden; her sisters Taryn, Janine, Jaden, Aislynn, Lucious & Rosalynn; as well as her kokhom Verna (Ajmal); her daddy Fred Quewezance; uncles Woody (Crystal) & Brandon; aunties Charity (Jason), Shayla, Joyce, Loretta (Devin), Carmen, Claudia (Daniel) & Angie; special friend Jason Borden as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews & friends that will all cherish her memory dearly.

She is predeceased by her brothers Jayden and Jaxon; mushum Charlie Bitternose; grandparents Patricia Laswisse & Clarence Bruce.

The Wake will be held on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, at 4pm in the Old Gymnasium on the George Gordon First Nation. A Traditional Funeral service will take place the following day, Sunday, March 23rd, at 11am in the same location.
