Arlene Cyr

Arlene Cyr, “Nancy,” born on December 19, 1970, passed on December 26, 2025, at the age of 55.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loved one.

She leaves to mourn her children Lucien, Andrew, Dakota, Kiesha & Matthew; grandchildren Waylon, Sidney, Kennedy, Owen, Mateo, Frauline, Zaiden, Kaitlyn & Tanner; brothers Shawn & Jojo; sister Colleen; bestie friend Mitza McNab as well as longtime friend Cindy Bitternose.

She is predeceased by her parents Sidney Bird & Myrtle Cyr; grandparents Andrew & Florence Bird (Cyr) & Joseph & Clara Cyr (Kasheep).

A wake will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 4pm in the Old Gymnasium on George Gordon First Nation. Funeral services will take place the following day, Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2pm in the same location.
