“Manny”

July 9, 1953 – August 31, 2024

On Saturday, August 31, 2024, Manny went on to the spirit world at the age of 71. Manny was born on July 9, 1953, to Bill McNab & Isabelle Bruce.

There to welcome him as he makes his journey home to the spirit world is his father, Bill McNab; mother Isabelle Bruce; brothers Irvin Bruce, Dennis Bruce, Vince Bruce, Gerald Bruce; sister Annette Bruce & other relatives.

Manny leaves to carry on his legacy of kindness, love & ceremony to his family & friends; siblings Allan (Lucie) Bruce, Geraldine Bruce, Charlene Bruce, Rosa Bruce; aunt Lillian Masacar; uncles Raymond Wolfe, Johnny Bruce, Bob Desjarlais, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & his ceremony family & close friends Doug Moise, Rene Norton, Clarence Pambrun & Mike Windigo.

Traditional wake will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 4pm in the Muskowekwan Band Hall. Traditional funeral & feast will take place the following day, Friday, September 6, 2024, at 11am in the same location. The service will not be livestreamed.

The family respectfully ask that no children attend the wake & funeral service. They also request that all women please wear traditional ribbon skirts.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the first responders (EMS), Punnichy RCMP, Conley Funeral Home & Muskowekwan First Nation community members.
