Audrey Elaine (Thompson) Buitenhuis

August 18, 1938 – December 1, 2020

It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Audrey Elaine Buitenhuis at the age of 82. Audrey was born in Carnduff, SK and grew up in many places including Raymore, SK. Audrey earned her teacher’s certificate from Normal School in Saskatoon. While teaching in the Saskatoon area, she went on a date with Gerald Buitenhuis. Audrey and Gerald married on July 4, 1964. Audrey loved her family, farming, church and reading. Audrey is forever loved and deeply missed by her family : daughter Joanne, children Janelle and Bryce, son Dale (Kristina), children Nolyn, Krislyn and Taylen, daughter Arlene (Greg), children Emma (Mac), Laura (Eric) and Grace. She is survived by brother in law Bud (Ethel), sisters Bernice (Colin) and Vera, sisters in law Jean (Lionel) and Helen (Bob) along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Audrey’s request no service will be held. Donations in remembrance of Audrey can be made to the Raymore Public Library, 205 Main Street, Raymore, SK S0A 3J0.
