February 19, 1966 – February 29, 2020

After a courageous battle with cancer, Barry’s family is heavily hearted to announce his passing on February 29, 2020.  Barry is predeceased by his Dad Peter Bugghins; his maternal grandparents Alphonse Sr. and Margaret Makokis; Special uncle Harvey Makokis; his father and mother in-law Dennis and Margaret Worme; sister in-law Denise Worme.  Special brother in-law Jeremy Miles.  

Barry leaves behind to mourn and cherish his memory, his loving wife Laverne Bugghins, mom Louise Bugghins, sister Dina Bugghins (John), sons Jarrett, Dominique, Clint (Chelsey), Alexander and Apollo.  His grandbabies Cade and Cayne.  Special sister in-law Shannon.  His close friends Rocky Vallier, Michael Hamm, Vadym Brazhnykov and Mike Pratt.  His special uncles; Kenny Worm Sr. (Judy), Ken Dustyhorn (Joyce) and Dick Makokis.  Plus, numerous family members, in-laws, aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Barry lived a long life being a Journeyman Welder and truck driver.  He loved and cherished his immediate family tremendously.  He will be forever loved and missed by his loved ones.  As per his final wishes, he will be laid to rest on Kawacatoose First Nation.

 Wake will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Asiniw-kisik Education Campusgymnasium. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m in the same location.  Interment will be followed at the North Cemetery on Kawacatoose First Nation.  Arrangements entrusted by Conley Funeral Home.
