It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Cadyn Lance Severight, who was born January 21, 1999, & died November 11, 2025.

Cadyn was predeceased by his father Lance Sr Severight; grandparents Dexter Severight, Brenda & Deon Kaiswatum; aunt Daphne McKay; uncle Lloyd Jr McKay; cousin Samuel Kovach; grandpa Ralph Stonechild; niece Scarlette.

He is survived by his mother Silvia McKay; his children Zylan, Araya, Lily, Nova & their mother Mercedes McLeod; common-law partner Arianna & their unborn child; brothers Cody McKay (Leah), Lance Jr Severight (Precious); sisters Allison McKay (Clarence), Larissa McKay, Danica (Paris); grandparents Lloyd Sr McKay (Bernice), Debra McKay; uncles Rob McKay (Denise), Ivan Severight (Heather) Allstar Kaiswatum, Dennis; aunt Charnele Kaiswatum; cousins Noland, Brandynne, Richerd, Tyler, Maia, Nicky, Savannah, Caitlyn; special niece Rose Akapew; numerous nieces, nephews & friends, as well as his dog Piper that will miss him dearly.

A wake will be held in the Hub on Peepeekisis First Nation at 4pm on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Funeral services will be held on the following day, Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11am in the same location.
