Carol passed away on May 17, 2025, to join the family and ancestors. She was the youngest daughter of the late Doris Yuzicappi (nee Goodwill) and Calvin Poitras.

Carol's life will be honored on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 4:00-6:00pm at Prairie Vale Crematorium Venue at 145 Hodsman Road in Regina, SK. The wake service will proceed at Tatanka Najin School on Standing Buffalo First Nation at 7:30pm. Funeral services will take place in the same location on the following day, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00am.
