Cecile Marie Goforth

September 29, 1959 - May 18, 2025

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandma, auntie, cousin and friend. Cecile was someone special to many friends and relatives throughout the world. 

Cecile Marie Goforth has begun her journey to be with all her friends and relatives who went on before her. She's now reconnected with her late husband Aubrey Goforth Sr, her late parents Alcide and Jeanette, along with many others. 

Cecile will be leaving behind her loving children, stepchildren, brothers, sisters, numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, as well as many friends within the community of File Hills Agency and surrounding areas. 

Cecile enjoyed life to the fullest. She was loved very much by everyone that met her. She was kind and loving, spending her life as a caregiver, taking care of people ignited her heart and soul. 

With her passing, there will be sadness down here on Earth, but there will be a celebration in heaven.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, on Peepeekisis First Nation. The service will be held in House #8 at 1pm.
