Cee Jay Blue Iron was unexpectedly called home by the Creator on Friday, June 21, 2024.

Cee Jay is predeceased by his Kookums Margaret Obey, Cheryl-Lynn Iron and Trudy Obey; Mushums Steven Floyd Iron, William Pasqua and Cecil Peigan; Uncles Cody Joseph Iron, Kalem Chase Iron, Desmond Goodwill, Kirk Tawiyaka, and special uncle Anthony Cyr; Auntie Marci, and baby cousin Chloe. Left to cherish his memory are parents Alana Obey and Steven Iron, and his big brother Kalem Iron; Grandparents Rosabelle and Tom McNabb, Celeste Goodwill and Fenton Obey; Aunties Ashley, Allison, Penny, and Desiree McNabb; Uncles Andrew, Joshua, Daniel and Cass McNabb, as well as numerous other cherished aunties, uncles, grandparents, cousins and special cousins.

A Wake will take place on Monday, June 24, 2024, on Peepeekisis Cree Nation (house 25) at 4:00 pm. Funeral services will be held the following morning, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in the same location at 11:00 am.
