July 10, 1982 – February 24, 2020

It is with great sadness and loss we announce that Chantelle Cherise Day passed away on February 24, 2020. She was a kind, very generous loving mother, sister and auntie to her family. Chantelle will be dearly missed by her mother Jocelyn Matechuck; sister Celeste Matechuck; daughters Keisha McNab Sutherland, angel Faye Day; son Jayden McNab; nephew Tyrese Joseph McNab Ahpay. Chantelle has numerous cousins, aunties , uncles, close friends and special grandma Sarah J. McNab.

Chantelle was predeceased by her father Samuel C. Mcnab; younger brother Colin; grandparents George and Isabel Matechuck; grandpa Joseph B. McNab.

Wake will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 4 pm in the old gym, George Gordon First Nation. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 27 at 12 noon in the same location. Interment in St. Luke’s Cemetery, George Gordon First Nation.

The family would like to thank both the staff and nurses in the Pallative Care Unit at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK, and the staff of Conley Funeral Home, Raymore, SK. for their compassionate care.
