It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Charity Dawn Cyr (Cherry Honeycutt). Charity was called home by the Creator and reunited with her son Creed on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the age of 44 years old.
Charity was predeceased by her precious son Creed Cyr (Cushty); father Chief John Wayne McNab; sister Janice Mercedi Lynn Bellegarde; maternal kokum Louise Cyr; grandfather Clifford Longman; aunts Elaine, Shiela, Debbie and Diane Cyr; uncles Ian, Darryl, Clifford (Sonny), Darwin (Hawk), and Leon cyr; nephews Layton Jr, Justice Cyr-Lafreniere; paternal grandmother Barbara McNab, grandfather Leonard McNab, aunts Linda, Celina, and Anne McNab; uncle Kenny McNab; and step-dad Ernie Asapace. 
Charity leaves to cherish her memory her partner of 28 years Kevin Lerat, beautiful children Kaiden Lerat, Kiara Cyr, Kiyana Cyr, Kevin Lerat Jr, Khloe Lerat, and her 4 grandbabies. She is survived by her momma Barbara Cyr; sister Tiffany Cyr (Terry), brother John Wesley Cyr (Allie), special family members Layton Laferniere and Kristin Lerat (China), nieces Rosie, Jordynn, Neveah, Krystine, Israella, Cheyanne, Kendell, Rylee and nephew Baby John, step-family Arlene McNab, Becki Buffalo and Jordan Pratt as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and special friends. 

Wake will be held Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 4 pm in the Old Gym, George Gordon First Nation. Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 26, at 11 am in the same location. Interment to follow in the Longman cemetery, George Gordon First Nation.
