October 19, 1984 - October 30, 2024

It is with great sadness and sorrow to announce the passing of our beloved Chase Lee Taypotat on October 30th, 2024. Chase was 40 years old.

Waiting to great him in the spirit world is his grandparents; Howard and Viola Isaac; Wilbert and Carol Taypotat; his father Eric Taypotat; sister Amber Mckay; Uncles Glen Alexson, Clayton Isaac, and Hubert Taypotat; Aunties Marilyn Isaac and Melissa Taypotat.

Left to cherish his memory is his special companion dog “Boss”; his mother Arlene Isaac (Galer); brothers Eric McArthur, Francis Isaac, Tyrese Taypotat and Creedence Taypotat; sisters Rachel Isaac, Morgan Isaac, Janet Mckay, Wynona Kaysaywaysemat, Lisa Sammy, and Shayla Taypotat; Special friend Shelley Bear; Special auntie Irene Isaac; Special cousins Crystal Cote, Stephen Sparvier, Samara Isaac, Salia Sparvier, Salisidy Sparvier and Jason Sparvier; and Special niece Tia Isaac; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

A wake will be held on Wednesday November 6, 2024, at Kahkewistahaw Complex at 4pm on Kahkewistahaw First Nation. There will be a buffet meal at 11am with funeral services to follow at 1pm on Thursday November 7, 2024, at the same location.

The family respectfully ask that no children under 12 attend the wake and funeral service.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Grenfell first responders (EMS) and the Broadview RCMP.
