October 12, 1995 - 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chelsea Dawn Poorman in 2020.
Chelsea will be welcomed into the spirit world by her maternal Great Moshum and Kokum Stella and George Ceepekous, Kokum; Claudette J Poorman. Paternal Great Kokum and Mushum Fred and Bessie Poorman, her aunt Karyn Poorman, paternal Kokum Julie Ahenakew.
Chelsea leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Sheila Poorman, siblings Paige Kiernan and Diamond Jamie-Leah Poorman and Moshom Bill Poorman. Chelsea will always be remembered in our hearts, she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A prayer of strength is extended out to all the Missing and Murdered Indigenous people and to their families.
A wake will be held on Saturday May 14, 2022 at the Asiniw-Kisik Education Complex, Kawacatoose First Nation at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held on Sunday May 15, 2022 at 11:00 am with a traditional feast to follow.
