Cory Bryan Kay


July 19, 1985 - October 5, 2025 


Cory was called home by the Creator on October 5, 2025 at the age of 40 years. 


He was predeceased by his parents Brian P. Dustyhorn and Rachel Kay; Paternal mushum and kokum Peter and Sophie Dustyhorn; maternal mushum and kokum Mike and Maryanne Kay.


Cory is survived by his brother Calvin; sisters Crystal (Sabin) and Courtney; nieces and nephews Noah, Payton, Dymond, Klyde, Keyano, Brian, Braden and Brooklyn. 


The family would like to thank the staff at the Wascana Rehabilitation Center for Cory's everyday care and support, Kawacatoose Chief and Council For their financial support, his buddies at the Wascana Rehabilitation center for their continuous friendship and just sharing a smoke with him (some he has taken as family) and all who have taken the time to visit, help and care for him. 


A wake will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at  4 pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Complex Gym, Kawacatoose First Nation. Funeral Service will be held the following day, Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11 am in the same location.
