October 30, 1965 – May 4, 2021

Dale passed peacefully with family at his bedside at home on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 1:18 pm. He was predeceased by his dad Hubert Assoon; mother Agnes J. Dustyhorn; oldest sister Shirley Assoon; brother Howard J. Dustyhorn; niece Lorenda J. Assoon; maternal grandparents Bessie and Fred Poorman Sr; paternal grandparents Mark and Margaret Assoon.

Dale leaves to mourn his sisters Vivian (Harry), Gail, Shiela (Ernest) Bigsky; brothers Brian (Lisa) Dustyhorn, Garry (Jenny) Dustyhorn; Dale’s children that he raised Colette (Harley), Stacey, Glennis (George); and Dale’s best friend Leland Severight; numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Wake will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at 4 pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Center Gymnasium, Kawacatoose First Nation. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11 am in the same location. Covid-19 protocols will apply.
