It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, father, grandfather, cousin, nephew & friend. Daniel was called home by Creator at the age of 56.

Waiting for Daniel in the spirit world are his loving parents George Longman SR & Alice T. Longman; brothers Charlie Cyr & William James Longman; sisters Ramona Whitehawk & Shirley Leona Whitehawk; nephew Jake Longman; grandparents Micheal Longman, Mary Longman, Joe Cyr & Clara Cyr & numerous aunts & uncles.

Left to cherish the memories of Daniel are his children Andrea Nokahoot (David), Glen Longman (Gabby), Therese (Evan) Bird, Brayden Longman, Shanyn Bird & Daniel Longman JR; grandchildren Charlee Nokahoot, Justice Bird, Everly Nippi, Annika Bird-McNab & Zane Longman; brothers Albert Longman, Wilfred Longman, George Longman & Jeff Longman; sisters Helen Messer (Richard), Carol Longman (John A), Brenda Jaeger (Mark) & Shaunna Weber.

A traditional wake will take place on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 4pm in the old gymnasium on George Gordon First Nation. Funeral services will be held the following day, Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 2pm in the same location.
