Darlene Rose Elizabeth Tanner

March 13, 1952 – February 27, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother Darlene Rose Elizabeth Tanner. She was 72 years of age.

Predeceased by her parents Leonard and Mary Tanner (nee Whitecap); brothers: Kenneth (Chuckie), Garry, and Leonard (Kunta) Tanner, Grandsons: Devon Jade Tanner, Kaci, and Lucas; and Granddaughter Keilia.

She leaves behind her loving children: Deanna, Melanie, Kevin (Sherita), Allison, Farrah (Curtis), Taneesha, and Yvette (Jon). Her grandchildren: Tristan (Joy), Katherine, Randelle, Erin (Thomas), Christelle (Casey), Cianna, Amber, Colby, Anthony, Elijah (Kyra), Serenity, Charity, Leon (Dayna), Skyler (Deanna), Rainey, and Misty. Great-grandchildren: Faith, Kyron, Roland, Tori, Hope, Samuel, Alaira, Hannah, Lenora, Marcus, Kashis, Kasha, Khloe, Karson, Carter and Reese. Special friends; Isabel Cyr (Russ), Sally and Melody Dobko, and Mary (Grandma) Pelletier.

Wake will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 4pm in the Cowessess First Nation Band Hall. Funeral services will take place the following day, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 11am in the same location.
