Kīsikaw pīsim Iskwēw “Sun Woman”

May 4, 1968 – September 24, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Debby Lyne Machiskinic  (Kīsikaw pīsim Iskwēw “Sun Woman”) on Thursday September 24, 2020 in Wynyard Saskatchewan at the age of 52.

She was predeceased by her mother Margaret Kay, brother Kevin, sister Karen Machiskinic, nephew Musqua, niece Ashley, special aunt Edna Kay, maternal grandparents Alex and Elsie Poorman and paternal grandparents Henry and Annie Kay.

She leaves to mourn her dad Austin (Grace), brothers Kevin Asapace, Claude (Jolene), Winston, Roger, Utin, Harold Asapace, sisters Tracey, Lori (Earl), Deanna, Cyndy, and Julie Kay. Nieces and nephews Kihew, Mason, Colby, Regan, Justin, Jake, Riel, Nicky, Keanu, Christian, Darius, Kristen, Jaylee, Kachina, Shanice, Rayne, Winnie, Stevie Ray, Alana, Aaron, Arlen, Alicia, Shania, Jenna, and Jesse.

The Family would like to thank the compassionate staff of the Golden Acres Care Home and the members of the Kawacatoose First Nation.

Wake will be held Saturday September 26, 2020 in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Complex, Kawacatoose First Nation. Funeral service will be held the following day Sunday September 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the same location. Interment to follow in the North Cemetery, Kawacatoose First Nation.
