It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family of Donald announce his passing at the age of 73 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Donald William Brown was born on November 26, 1949. He was predeceased by his beautiful wife of 31 years Sandra; parents William and Alice; brother Eddie; and sisters Wilma, Inez and Helen.
Donald leaves to mourn his son Dallas (Tracy), grandchildren Danilee (Tyrell), great grandchildren Taylyn and Denai, grandchildren Tyson and Tianna; son Derrick (Vicki) grandaughter Jamie (Dalton); sisters Irene, Alice, Iris and Mabel; brothers Stacey, Arthur and Allen; as well as many brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, friends and a special furry friend Cassie.
Don worked for the Wheat Pool for many years before pursuing his passion for farming and moving to the family farm where he still lived up to his passing. He enjoyed quadding in the hills, fishing, traveling, coffee with friends and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him.
There will be a gathering to visit and share stories and memories on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 2-4 pm at the Duval Hall, Duval, SK. Everyone is welcome.
