Donald loved his family, he loved to laugh, make jokes. He was a down-to-earth man with a very humble personality – never asking for much – just $50 for his 50th birthday. He had a big heart & loved everyone so dearly close to him making memories or memorable comments. Only something duck would say. He is very missed. Always spend time with his “twin” sister Barbara. Donald always kept a strong bond with his children’s mother Verna Smoker he will be missed. Special thanks goes out to Shinene, for caring for him.
We offer gratitude to the hospital nursing staff & doctors at RUH for their respectful support to ensure Susip received the best in medical comfort care.
A wake will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 3pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Complex, on Kawacatoose First Nation. On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 1pm, funeral services will be held in the same location.
