Elaine Joyce Gorrill (nee Menzies)

January 25, 1938 – November 22, 2022

Elaine passed away peacefully on November 22, 2022 in Strasbourg, SK at the age of 84. she was born in Semans, Saskatchewan and was raised on a farm north of Semans, completed her education and found employment in Regina.

Elaine married Allan Gorrill on January 16, 1965, they then moved to their farm west of Bulyea, and raised two boys; Brent (Nina), Brian (Corri) and three grandchildren Karisa, Ashton and Sheyanne. Elaine loved her garden and making lunch for people when they would stop and visit, she also loved to bake. Elaine was a longtime member of the UCW in Bulyea and always helped out with her time and baking at community functions. Elaine enjoyed playing cards and board games, but above all Elaine was a kind person and loved her family. She moved into the Last Mountain Pioneer lodge in 2017 until her passing.

A memorial service for Elaine will be held at a future date, in the spring/summer of 2023.
