James (Jim) Paulsen
August 17, 1932 – April 2, 2021
James (Jim) Paulsen was born August 17, 1932 in Punnichy, Sk to John and Elsie Paulsen(Straker). Jim then moved to Raymore in 1943 where he met his lifelong partner, Jean Potts. They were married on August 2, 1957. After marriage, they moved to the farm life. Jim custom hauled grain for many farmers in the Raymore and Punnichy areas. They opened and ran a coin laundry and dry-cleaning business in Raymore until it sold. They lived the farm life for many years and enjoyed every minute of it. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, hockey and snowmobiling up until his 87th year. You could see Jim supporting his grandchildren at hockey, football and soccer games with a beaming smile, and hunting with Brad, Chad and many close friends with multiple stories to tell. Jim was able to fix anything and everything, some would call him a Jack of all trades. Jim had a love for music, dancing and singing. The louder the better!
