It is with great sorrow we announce that Janet Akan passed suddenly on Monday, December 25, 2023 at the age of 61.

Janet was predeceased by her mother Janette Netowawayseeson; father Gilbert Campeau; brothers Joseph, Patrick; sister Anne.

She is survived by her husband Richard; children Kim (Ernest), Karen, Kelly (Scott), Krystle and Dakota; brothers Tom (Lillian), Robert (Harriette), Jim; sisters Mary (Larry), Alice (Allen), Joyce and Barb (Brian); grandchildren Jayden, Jayda, Thunder, Jade, Kehsis, Merridiansky and Rickalan; special niece Sherri and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family. So many loved ones whose lives she touched will miss Janet.

Wake for Janet will be held Wendesday, January 3, 2023 at 4 pm in the Muskowekwan Band Bingo Hall, Punnichy, SK. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 4, 2023 at 1030 am in the same location.
