It is with profound sadness and sorrow that the family of Janet May Henry announces her passing on August 28, 2024. Janet leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be remembered. She is predeceased by her grandfather, Roderick, and Grandmother, Ella Henry; brothers, Eric Henry, and Kevin Henry; and sister, Debbie Pelletier.

Janet is survived by her mother, Ruth Henry, and daughter, Cherish (Joe); her grandchildren, Kaira (Connor), Journey, Desthyn, Vienna, Jorrie, Mikki, and son Kevin Sugar; her sister, Penny Henry, brothers Morris Henry (Dixie), and Kirby Henry; her Pelletier sisters: Janice Pauline and Lois Pelletier, brother, Dwight Pelletier. She is survived by her special daughter, Gaylene Henry; her special sons, Steven Henry, and Shawn Henry; special brothers: Allen Henry, Stacey Wasacase, Zachary Wasacase, and Lester Henry; special nephew, Willy-boy Henry; special nieces, Tarra Sugar, and Tesheena Sugar; and special grandchild: Micah Pelletier. She is also survived by her special auntie, Lavina Dorma, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Wake will be held on Monday, September 2, 2024, at 4 p.m. in the Denton George Memorial Complex. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The traditional feast will be at 11 a.m., with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. Internment will be at the Henry Family Cemetery.
