Janice Mercedi Lynn Bellegarde

November 23, 1993 – October 21, 2023

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce Janice’s passing on October 21, 2023 at the age of 29. Janice was born in Regina, SK on November 23, 1993. She was a kind-hearted, funloving free spirit while here on earth. We want her to be remembered as the beautiful person that she was. Janice is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Louise Cyr and Clifford Longman, Uncles Clifford Cyr, Leon Cyr, Darwin Cyr, Darrell Cyr, Ernest Asapace, and Aunt Diane Cyr; paternal grandparents John B. Cyr and Elsie Bellegarde, Uncle Rynold Bellegarde, and Aunts Beverly Kahnapace, Glenda McKay, Janice Bellegarde, Stephanie Bellegarde and sister Shannon Beth Cyr. Jancie is survived by her mother Debbie Cyr (Paul); Father Greg Bellegarde; her loving sons Jaidah Justin Lee Kahapace, Jace Achilles Isaiah Kahnapace, their father and her special friend Jacob Kahnapace; partner Devon Cappo; siblings Katlin Kitchemonia, Tony Cyr, Cory Bellegarde, Nathan Cyr, Natasha Sparvier, Darren McNab, Blue Cloud Stonechild, Greg Bellegarde Jr, Tenisha Bear, and special aunt and cousins Barb Cyr, Charity Cyr, Tiffany Cyr, John Cyr, and Rachel Cyr, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from both sides of her family.

Wake will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 4 pm at the Old Gym on George Gordon First Nation.

Funeral will take place Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 1 pm at the same location. Officiating: Pastor Dale Gillman
