It is with deep love and respect that the family of Jeremy announces his journey to the Spirit World at the age of 44 years.

Jeremy was a proud member of the Star Blanket Cree Nation in the Treaty Four Territory. He lived his life guided by his ancestral teachings and carried forward the values of respect, humility, kindness, and responsibility to his family and community.

Jeremy was known for his personal qualities of humour, strength, wisdom & generosity. He enjoyed community activities, hunting, caring for his family, practicing his traditional role as oskâpêwis and shared these gifts freely with others.
Jeremy was a devoted parent, grandparent, sibling, uncle, cousin, and friend who placed family at the center of his life. His stories and laughter will continue to live on through all who knew him.
Jeremy is lovingly remembered by his mother Denita, Children Nathaniel, Keira, Lucas, Memphis, Oasis, grandson Sincere, god-son Jamin. Brothers Brendan, Matthew, sisters Kristen, Isabelle, numerous aunts, uncles & relatives, adopted brothers, Marvin, Jeremy (Drezus), August K.
Jeremy is reunited with those who went before him including his Father Earl, paternal Grandmother Delbina, maternal grandparents Chief Irvin & Margaret Starblanket, brothers, Jonathan (in infancy), and Darrel.

A wake will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 4pm in the White Calf Gymnasium, Lebret, SK. followed by funeral services on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 11:00am in the same location. All are welcome to attend and honor Jeremy’s life in a good way.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Star Blanket Chief, Leadership & Staff, SBCN Community Members, Kihew Kawaskasit Health Services, File Hills Police Services, First Responders, Kêtêyak, helpers, and CISM Team for their care, prayers, and support.
