September 8, 1987 – July 9, 2024

It is with great sadness and heartache the family announces the passing of Jim Crowe on July 9, 2024.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Jim & Bertha Crowe; maternal grandparents David & Lillian Assoon; sisters Lorenda Assoon, Johanna Asapace & Ramona Assoon; brother Joseph Crowe.

Jim is survived by his parents Joseph Miles Crowe & Anita Assoon; children Sam Crowe, Jimmie Crowe, Shaheya Desjarlais, Simon Desjarlais, Romio Crowe, Miley Crowe & Jasper Crowe; common-law partner Ashley Demas; siblings Lenore Machiskinic, Darren Assoon, Leo Assoon (Tamara), Tom Crowe (Fallon) & Ted Crowe as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends that will all miss him dearly.

A wake will be held on Friday, July 12th, 2024, at 4pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Complex on Kawacatoose First Nation. Funeral services will take place the following day, Saturday, July 13th, 2024, at 2pm in the same location. This service will not be livestreamed.
