John Kelly Kahnapace (Big John) born June 8, 1958, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at the age of 65 years. John leaves to mourn his wife Sally Kahnapace; son Cody Armstrong; granddaughter Dayna; great grandson Xavier; grandsons Grayson and Hayden; daughter Stephanie Smokeday; grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous brothers, sisters, friends and family. John leaves many to mourn, he touched a lot of hearts.

John is predeceased by his dad Alfred Cyr and mother Margaret Pasqua; and brother Alfred Cyr.

Wake will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 at 4 pm in the Chief Ben Paskwa Hall, Pasqua First Nation. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 5 at 11 am in the same location.
