With heavy hearts, the family of John Russell Stonechild announce that he began his journey into the Spirit world on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. (Full obituary to come)

A Traditional Wake will take place at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 16, 2024, on Okanese First Nation at the Okanese Learning Centre (OLC). Funeral services will be held the following morning, August 17, at 11:00 am in the same location, beginning with a pipe ceremony at 9:00 am.
