It’s with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear Brother, Father, Son, Grandson, Nephew and friend, Jordan Lee Taypotat. He was born on October 16th, 1989, in Prince Albert Saskatchewan and passed away on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, in Regina Saskatchewan at the age of 36.

He is predeceased by his Grandparents Marion and Clifford Taypotat; Mother Debra Ann Taypotat and Father Andy Quewezance.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his adopted mother Wendy Lee Taypotat; sisters, Constance Lee Taypotat (Malcolm Green) Crystal Taypotat (Dory Oochoo) and Jennifer Taypotat; adopted brother, Jeffery Taypotat (Jenelle Taypotat) and his partner Keahna Cote; uncles, Zack Isaac (Janice) Wesley, Curtis and Darren; Aunties, Janice (Jerry), Cheryl, Marilyn and Arlene; nephews, Rashawn, Latrell; nieces, Jhanee and Malika; sons, Keytin, Keystin and Jordan Jr.; daughter, Jordanna; and numerous Uncles, Auntie, Cousins and friends

Jordan spoke often about his kids, who he was proud of and loved immensely. He had the biggest heart and always thought of others before himself. When you saw Jordan, he always had the biggest brightest smile, when you were around Jordan you were always laughing and joking because he had the best sense of humor and always knew how to turn a sad situation into good memories.

He will be forever missed by many.

Wake will be held Sunday, February 15th, 2026, at 4pm in the community complex Kahkewistahaw First Nation.

Funeral service will be held Monday, February 16th, 2026, at 11am in the same location. Interment to follow in the Kahkewistahaw First Nation cemetery.
