It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Joseph Brian Windigo “BJ” (Chimooks) on August 2nd, 2024 at the age of 40 years old.

He was predeceased by his father Brian Windigo; mother Loretta McNab; brother Carl Windigo; son Dylon Tony.

Left to celebrate his life are his wife Pamela Windigo; daughter Dayna Windigo; stepchildren Broly Constant and Danielle Constant; sister Maryna Windigo; brother Chance Windigo; his best friends Mark Desjarlais Jr, Dylan Desjarlais, Brent Windigo, all those that were close to him and the many of his Windigo/McNab family-aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

BJ will be greatly missed for his sense of humor, his generosity and his big heart. He loved to tease and share laughter with everyone he loved. “Why do you got to hog all the ugly?”

A wake will be held on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024, at 4pm in the Muskowekwan Band Hall on Muskowekwan First Nation. Funeral services will take place the following day, Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at 11am in the same location.
