Joe passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 80 surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 29, 1945, he lived a life devoted to his family.

Left to cherish his life is his wife Esther Worme; daughters Brenda, Kerry (Oral), Lori (Chance); grandchildren Shaun, Nicole, Dylan, Elly, Joelyn and Elvis Jr; great grandchildren Starlynn, Silus, Desmond, Shaun Jr, Joseph, Anna, Shaelynn, Wahkeen, Nicky, and Soren; great great grandson Riley; siblings Ronnie, Elaine, Shirley, Lloyd, Judy, Clarence, Yvonne, Virginia; adopted children Kammy Sutherland, Clifton Okemaysim, Craig Sutherland.

Joseph was predeceased by his special grandson Glenn Worme; parents Bill and Gladys (McNab) Worme; son in law Elvis Favel Sr; siblings Campbell Worme, Violet Stonechild, and Linda Bear.

Wake will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 4 pm in the Asiniw-Kisik Education Center on Kawacatoose First Nation. Funeral services will take place the following day, Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 11 am in the same location.
