Joseph was called home by the Creator on January 7, 2026. He was predeceased by his great grandparents Michael & Mary Longman, Joe & Clara Cyr; grandparents George and Alice Longman; uncles Charles Cyr, William Longman (Billy), Daniel Longman (Dan); cousin Ashley Whitehawk; aunties Ramona Whitehawk, Shirley Whitehawk; great grandparents Gilbert and Bertha Twist, Christina Law (Anderson), Blanche Pasqua (McNab); grandpa Erwin Twist (Wapos); cousins Terry McNab, Prairie Dawn Twist.

Joseph is survived by his children Angelo, Poppy, Joseph, Samuel Twist; Common law Kendra Morris; stepchildren Kaliyah, Kayda and Austin; father George (April) Longman, mother Cecilia Twist (Jerry); sisters Danielle Bird, Desirae (Charles), Prairie (Storm) Longman; brothers Brandon (Shay) Twist, George (Nateesha) Greybuffalo, Kenton Longman and Travis Toto; grandpa Tom (Shanie) Twist; grandma Darlene (Johnny) fisher; kokum Dee Toto; and numerous uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews, nieces, grandmas and grandpas; special nephews Leandre (Zoosk), Zayne (Petie), Charles (Charlie Brown)

“Tommy” truly loved everyone, friends and family.

Wake will be held Monday, January 12, 2026 at 4 pm in the Old Gym, George Gordon First Nation. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 11 am in the same location. Interment to follow in Longman Cemetery.
