It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Junior Walter Key on August 24, 2024, at 11:30am. Junior was 36 Years old.

Waiting to greet him in the spirit world is his father Walter Takakenew; brothers Jeff Key & Jason Bird; aunties Lillian Key, Evelyn Key & Norma Key.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Heaven Key, Phoenix Black, Hayden Bumphrey, Jackson Bumphrey & Janeese Johns; mother Iva Key-Takakenew; brothers Charles Key, Robert Sunchild & Reno Sunchild; sisters Wanda Key, Peggy Sunchild & Marilyn Wolf; uncles Brandon Key & Stuart Bitternose; aunties Georgina Key & Margo Key; niece Kianna Key; cousins Stuart Bitternose Jr, Julie Key & Clem Bitternose.

Wake will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 4pm in the old gymnasium on George Gordon First Nation. Funeral Services will take place the following day, Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11am in the same location. Services will NOT be live streamed.
