Kenny Douglas George

October 9, 1964 – March 2, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenny Douglas George on Tuesday March 2, 2021 in Regina Saskatchewan at the age of 56.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Tessa, his parents Gladys and Ernest, siblings Denton, Clifton, Patricia, Darryl, Kimberly, Athenia, Ernest Jr., Fredrick, Lavela, and Reuben.
He is survived by his children Heather, Kelly, Anthony (Robynne), Jocelyne (Darren), 17 grandchildren, and his sisters Balinda (Corey), Twila, and Karen.
He was an all-star 3rdBaseman with the Ochapowace Diamond Dawgs and played on various other sporting teams. He was a proud fan of the Edmonton Oilers because of Ethan Bear. He had a lifelong passion for sports. He was involved in the Ochapowace Thunder, Recreation Senior Ball, and in his younger years the Power Chiefs. He was known for his love for sports and could be found at the rink doing everything from simple repairs to driving the Zamboni.
He touched many lives and forever will be missed.

Wake will be held on Sunday March 7, 2021 beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Chief Denton George Memorial Multiplex, Ochapowace Nation. Funeral Service will be held the following day, Monday March 8, 2021 beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the same location. He will be laid to rest in the Ochapowace Cemetery, Ochapowace Nation.
