It is with great heart ache and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kristy Lynn Cyr “Tush”. She was called home by the Creator suddenly at the age of 40 on August 18th, 2024.

Kristy was predeceased by her father Gerald I. Cyr Sr; Son Devontae Mc Nab, baby McNab; Daughter in infancy Jaydaizy McNab; Paternal grandmother Marina Cyr (Berny); Grandfather Wynston Shingoose; Grandmother Maxine Bitternose; Grandfather Lawrence Geddess.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents Arlene & Ron Kechego; Father of children Billy McNab; Children Darryl Cyr, Jayrian McNab, Jaliza Cyr, Hennessy McNab, Haze McNab, Honesty McNab & Jodeci McNab; siblings Lionel Cyr, Jay Jay Cyr, Allison Cyr (James); Adopted siblings Kevin, Kristin, Kerry, Justin & Josh; Uncle Lyle Bitternose; Grampa Earl Cyr (Noreen); as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Kristy was loved for her loving caring and humerous nature, she will dearly be missed by al that were fortunate to have had the opportunity to cross paths with her.

Wake will be held Saturday, August 24th, 2024 at 4pm in the old gymnasium on George Gordon First Nation. Funeral services will take place the following day, Sunday, August 25th, 2024 in the same location.
