Lakisha Lynn George

It is with sadness that the family of Lakisha George announce her passing on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the age of 24.

Lakisha will be lovingly cherished by her two beautiful children Elliesunflower and Emerysage George; Loving mother Colleen Goodwill; brothers, Leroy(Trudy) and Lyndon; and nieces and nephews, Caiden, Siena, Greyson, Zay, Zandra, Ezra, Eli and Emaira. She will be remembered by all the extended family from Ochapowace and Standing Buffalo. Lakisha was predeceased by her loving father, Melvin George; and brothers, Lewis George and Lyle George.

Lakisha was a caring, courageous and resilient person she Loved her children with all her heart she loved spending time with them. She would often put the needs of others above herself. Lakisha was known to always put a smile on the faces of those around her. She was a genuine and unforgettable woman with a beautiful spirit, that will be dearly missed.

A Wake will take place at 4:00 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Ochapowace First Nation at the Chief Denton George Memorial Multiplex, with services at 7:00 PM. A feast will be held the following day, Friday, December 8, 2023, in the same location at 11:00 AM before the funeral and interment services take place, with lunch to take place afterwards at the Multiplex.
