With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, who peacefully passed away at home at the age of 55 years. Laurie was predeceased by his father Edward Cappo; Mom Rose Dubois; his son Dakota Thomson; his siblings Alfred and Robert Dubois, Eleanor, Delphine and Tammy; Adopted siblings Dallon Thompson and other family members to numerous to mention; Grandparents Joseph (Pilomene) Cappo, Angus (Floral) Kaiswatum.
Laurie is survived by his mother Bernadette Cappo (Kaiswatum); his brothers Marvin, Denby, Faron, Sherwin, Edmond; Adopted Brothers to numerous to mention. Sisters Leanne, Alaynah, Alanna, Patsy, Rena; Adopted sisters to numerous to mention. Sons Daylin and Delray Thomson. Daughters Larita, Lakita (Taran), Lavina, Lalita, Lacey. Adopted son Bradley Ironstar and Daughters to numerous to mention. Grandchild Mason Thomson. Adopted grandchildren to numerous to mention. Special friends and relatives.
Wake will be held Friday February 5, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the Muscowpetung Education centre, Muscowpetung First Nation. Funeral Service will be held the following day, Saturday February 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the same location. He will be laid to rest on hill by niece Cecilia Cappo home at Muscowpetung First Nation
